You can call us (207-306-7706) or complete the process online. Once you select your unit, you will be prompted to create an account so that you can complete the paperwork.
A valid form of government-issued ID such as a driver’s license, passport, or state ID.
The first month is prorated, and the new term starts on the first of each month. We do not prorate on move-out.
Your invoice will include a one-time setup fee (referred to as “services” on the invoice) of $15. A $20 late fee is charged if you do not make payment by the 6th of each month. A $50 cleaning fee will be assessed if anything is left in the unit (trash, etc.) and the floor is not broom clean.
Alexander Storage Units does not provide coverage for your contents. Your homeowner’s policy may provide insurance on personal property (check with your Agent) or you can elect to purchase Tenant’s Protection coverage through us. If you do not have a personal insurance policy and you do not elect to purchase Tenant’s Protection coverage, you will not be reimbursed for any damage resulting from the storage of your property in our facility.
Our website makes it easy for you to manage all your payments online at any time. Set up automatic payments with a credit card or pay online and manage your account every month with our easy-to-use Customer Payment Portal. Of course, you can always pay by cash or check.
We require 10 days written notice to vacate your unit.
You will have 24/7 access to your unit unless an event such as an emergency or severe weather prevents us from making the facilities safe. If you are late with your payment, we will deny access via an overlock until your account is up to date.
Perishables, plants, animals, stolen or illegal goods, flammable or hazardous items, combustible items, or liquids. Please contact us if you have any questions regarding a specific item.
Use pallets or store your stuff in plastic totes to protect your property. Use mattress covers and cover items with tarps to avoid any moisture damage. We can’t keep mice out, so use your mouse deterrent of choice.
